Nkhwali Sponsorship - The Dignity Project

Nkhwali Child Sponsorship Programme

The Dignity Project started a small child sponsorship programme in Nkhwali village at the request of ther village leaders and sponsors were found in the UK but this was limited to one year sponsorship.

Finding sponsors for some of the orphans and vulnerable children helped these children have worth in the village as some of their sponsorship money was used for village projects i.e. repairing the maize-mill (see below right)

This was a frustrating village to help as the corruption hampered so much of what we could have done and did do. Which was a shame for the children.
